Based at Airpark Canterbury Christchurch North Community Patrol is a charitable volunteercrime prevention organisation completely reliant on donations & grants & a member of Community Patrols of New Zealand (CPNZ).
CPNZ Vision “Empowering communities for a secure tomorrow, our vision is a New Zealand where everyone feels safe. In partnership with others, we prevent crime & reduce harm through the active presence of trained patrollers”.
What We Do We carry out vehicle & foot crime prevention patrols throughout the northwest suburbs of Christchurch & dedicated city-wide patrols of mosques, temples, synagogue & churches. We are also tasked by Police to assist with crime prevention, crime scenes, public safety & vehicle accidents & transport Police mail. Additionally, we carry out graffiti patrols for the City Council & transport patients & equipment for a local charity hospital.
